We have the final results from the Drexel Book Drive contest.

First we would like to thank the Oak Community for going above and beyond with your donations.
We are excited to pass on these books to our friends at Drexel this March.

Here are our top 3 grade levels:

3rd Place: ECE -- 646 books!
2nd Place: 3rd grade -- 708 books!!
1st Place: 5th grade - 1119 books!!!!
(They rallied and brought in 455 more books on the final day!)

This gives us a total of 3,636 books collected in the last two weeks. T\

Every parent knows challenges, setbacks, and failures are part of growing up. Less clear is why these experiences are crucial to healthy development and what parents can do and say to make sure their kids learn and grow from them, instead of getting stuck. Join us for an event with nationally acclaimed parenting author Michelle Icard, who will guide us with warmth, wisdom, and her signature humor, through what adults should and shouldn't do when a child they love faces a setback, including struggles with: believing in themselves, showing concern for others, connecting with peers or family members, following the rules, taking care of their bodies, and many more.
